- 발달장애무용수의 춤 활동에 관한 내러티브 탐구 -
본 연구는 발달장애무용수의 춤 활동에 관한 내러티브를 탐구하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 발달장애무용수 한 명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층면담을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 발달장애무용수의 춤 활동에 대한 내러티브 는 크게 세 가지 이야기로 귀결되었다. 첫째, 연구참여자 보람은 춤을 통해 자신이 선호하는게 무엇인지를 알 게 되었고, 무용수라는 직업에 대한 정체성이 형성되었다. 둘째, 발달장애무용수 보람에게 춤은 타인과 함께 하 는 것으로, 이를 통해 활동의 반경을 넓혀가고 있었다. 셋째, 보람에서 춤 활동은 자신의 삶에 대한 목표를 설 정하는 동기가 되었고, 이를 통해 도전하는 삶을 살아가고 있었다. 이상의 발달장애무용수 보람이 경험하는 춤 활동 내러티브는 장애와 비장애의 차이에 대한 소통을 위한 정보를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.
Narrative Research on Dance Experiences of a Dancer with Developmental Disability
The purpose of this study is to explore the narrative of dance activities of a dancer with developmental disability. For this purpose, one dancer with a developmental disability was selected as a participant in the study, and an in-depth interview was conducted. As a result, the narrative about the dance activities of a dancer with developmental disability largely came down to three stories. First, the research participant, Boram, experienced the process of getting to know himself through dance. He became aware of his preferences and formed an identity as a dancer. Second, he was living in harmony with others through dance. For Boram, a dancer with developmental disability, dancing meant living with others, and through this, he was expanding the scope of his social activities. Third, he was setting goals and challenging himself through dance. Dancing became a motivation for Boram, a dancer with developmental disability, to set goals for his life, and through this, Boram was living a life of challenge. The dance activity narrative experienced by Boram, a dancer with developmental disability, is expected to provide information for communication on the difference between disability and non-disability.
